The Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA) is proud to coordinate College Goal SundaySM (CGS) in Florida. FASFAA is an organization of over 700 financial aid professionals who represent all sectors of the financial aid community, including postsecondary institutions in Florida, lending institutions, state governmental agencies, loan servicing agencies and other organizations that support financial aid administration. The FASFAA organization is comprised of many of the financial aid experts in the state of Florida whose mission is to promote an awareness of financial aid to students, parents, the secondary and post-secondary education community, and other groups that may be identified. This is why FASFAA is committed to serve as Florida’s Coordinator for College Goal SundaySM. On the evening of November 15, 2011 the Lake Brantley High School PTSA presented “The College Process Starts Now….Helping Your Student Succeed.” The focus of the program was planning for college. This is especially valuable for grades 9-11 and their families. Information was provided about parenting during this process, helping your student understand what to look for in a college and what are some of the available options. The presentation lasted about 40 minutes followed by questions and answers.
